Sandy Spring Friends School

Summer at Sandy Spring takes place on the 140-acre wooded campus of Sandy Spring Friends School. Founded in 1961, Sandy Spring Friends School (SSFS) is a progressive, coeducational, college preparatory Quaker school, serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade, with optional five- and seven-day boarding programs in the Upper School. SSFS offers strong academics that include Advanced Placement courses in the Upper School, arts, athletic programs and a diverse and international school community.
