Standard Contracting, Inc. is a contracting firm specializing in earthwork, erosion control and civil/site-related work. In addition to conventional commercial building excavation and highway heavy work, we do the unusual jobs, the hard jobs, and the projects other companies don't want to take the time to figure out. We are committed to providing excellence in client satisfaction. Our goal is to be the contractor that you call first when you need solutions for your earthwork, site and erosion control problems. We have experience, we have specialized equipment and we relish a challenge. We have excellent people working for us that know what they are doing, do what they say they will do and show up on schedule. Standard Contracting, Inc. is signatory to the Local 49 International Union of Operating Engineers. Our workers are trained through Local 49 apprenticeship and training programs. In addition, they maintain certifications as Erosion Control Site Managers, Inspectors and Installers, and are trained in the operation of specialty equipment. We maintain a safe working environment by holding regular safety meetings for workers and adhering to safety standards endorsed by our insurance provider for operating equipment, work procedures and personal safety equipment. Standard Contracting, Inc. is a woman owned and run business certified as a DBE, WBE, SBE and TGB to provide site-related services. We provide our contracting services to the Minneapolis/St. aul Metro area and the cities within a 50-mile radius, including Rochester, Lino Lakes, Maple Grove, Eden Prairie, Woodbury, and Hastings.
