Startup Norway

StartupNorway.com was started by Frode Jensen and Maja Adriansen in 2012 to be the umbrella for a lot of the initiatives taking place to build a startup community in Norway. We want Startup Norway to become the go-to place to know about the startup ecosystem in Norway. To take this role we are looking to building a Norwegian tech company database, listing events in tech and business, having jobs for related companies and writing about the things happening in startup Norway. As Startup Norway we also organize events like Startup Weekends, Startup Beers and Open Coffee's, Startup Summer and Oslo Health Challenge. We are in the process of defining our goals and milestones. The non-prioritized list includes: Create an overview of the startup ecosystem Tie the startup community more together Become the gateway to working in startups Increase media focus on existing startups Showcase startups as an alternative career path to big corporations We like to meet people so get in contact and we can have a real or virtual coffee / tea / beer.
