SSM is specialized in designing, manufacturing and mounting steel exhaust systems for flue and process gases. We have more than 30 years' experience in designing constructions, performing static calculations and providing technical advice concerning steel stacks and innerliner solutions - as well as more than 100 years of accumulated knowledge of the thermal conditions of exhaust flue gas. This is the foundation of our solutions covering everything from chimneys to boilers. Our products are used globally in district heating plants (HOU), combined heat and power plants (CHP) - biomass plants, process industries, waste to energy plants etc. SSM was established by John Henriksen in 1981and quickly became a leading manufacturer of quality steel chimneys for flue and process gases. In 2013 SSM decided to extend its product range into a complete exhaust system solution with heavy duty fans, silencers etc. All components are always optimized to the customers' individual needs, so that they are custom-made for each project. Today we have a wide range of globally wellknown international customers such as Cofely, Novozymes, Gea Engineering, Nutreco Pudden, Krüger, Avedøre Power Plant, Danisco Sugar, Haldor Topsøe, Hillerød CHP plant etc. Our products are subject to strict standards, including Eurocodes/DS/EN 1090-2 and 1090-1.
