Steely Lumber

Steely Lumber is an independent, family owned Southern Yellow Pine lumber producer located in Huntsville, TX. The Steely family has had sawmills in Walker County since 1896 and we have been at the current location since 1968. We own and manage approximately 6,000 acres in and around Walker County which we manage, in our minds, the most ecologically sound and environmentally conscious method we know. We continually strive to become one of the most efficient mills in the South producing more than 40 MMBF board feet of dimension lumber annually. Steely Lumber is widely acknowledged to be among the industry leaders in product quality. Our primary product is 5/4" decking and many of our buyers will vouch for the fact our decking is some of the best in the business. Continuous technological developments and investment in our mill allows us to remain an efficient and quality product-producing sawmill.
