STI GmbH currently employs 140 members of staff at the locations Wiesbaden and Weeze, as well as the branches in Dubai and Melbourne. It carries out passenger screening at Niederrhein Airport/ Airport Weeze and if required at Düsseldorf Express Airport Mönchengladbach as well as staff and goods screening at the Niederrhein Airport. STI GmbH is the German market leader for staff training on the subject of security checks in the areas of aviation security in accordance with §§ 5, 8 and 9 LuftSiG (aviation security act). STI GmbH has four lines of business: Training, Consulting, IT Solutions and Control & Services. We offer classroom training, online training, software solutions, security consulting and other security-related services. In close cooperation with Smiths Heimann GmbH, Wiesbaden, STI GmbH is involved in a wide range of training activities concerning the use of X-ray equipment. STI GmbH develops and sells the computer based training system OTS (Operator Training System), one of the leading products of its kind worldwide. This system is used all over the world by public authorites, airport operators, airlines, by legal authorities and in industry. STI GmbH adapts it according to the requirements of the customers and their individual fields of operation.
