STILETTO Entertainment is an international entertainment production, management and marketing company. Incorporated in 1981, STILETTO maintains rehearsal, production and warehouse facilities at its principal offices in Los Angeles. STILETTO has produced hundreds of concerts, theatrical productions, production shows, TV specials and live events throughout the world. Everything from casting, rehearsing, scheduling, contract negotiations, advertising and promotion, production and financial responsibility are coordinated by STILETTO's staff. Though the company's primary focus is the production of theatrical events, Stiletto's history in personal management focusing primarily on the music industry has found the company representing clients as diverse as Barry Manilow, Brian Culbertson and Lorna Luft. STILETTO enjoys exclusive representation of Barry Manilow and is in the early development stage with several emerging young singer/songwriters. STILETTO Entertainment began producing shows for cruise ships in 1995 and since then the STILETTO "fleet" has grown with a fifteenth ship added in July 2010. STILETTO casts over 350 singers and dancers each year. They perform in a variety of shows including Broadway, Las Vegas and contemporary pop, and STILETTO's cruise ship production of "Barry Manilow's Copacabana" received the 1999 Entertainment Award from Onboard Services magazine. Auditions are held several times a year at STILETTO's facilities in Los Angeles, major dance studios in Chicago, New York, London, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Denver, Orlando, Williamsburg, Hershey and Cleveland as well as numerous other cities and at studios and musical theater departments. Auditions are advertised in "Back Stage" and "Back Stage West", the Las Vegas "Call Back", on posters at dance studios and colleges, by e-mail (click here to sign up), and by direct mail to STILETTO's mailing list of singers and dancers throughout the world. In addition there is an Auditions Page on this website. The entire mailing list also receives quarterly updates of available openings in future casts. This year some of the singers and dancers STILETTO has cast include musical theater and dance department graduates from Long Beach State, Point Park College, UC Irvine, Wagner College, Brigham Young University, University of Massachusetts, Kentucky State University, Cal State Fullerton, Western Michigan University, University of Northern Colorado, Milikin University, University of Michigan, Sam Houston State University, Kent State University and Orange Coast College. Singers and dancers have also been cast from videotape submissions, but it is always better to be seen in person. With their costs of living covered and a favorable tax situation working at sea, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced performers to save for future plans or recent graduates to pay off a student loan while seeing the world aboard one of our luxury liners.
