We also continue to provide our own out of hours service so that 24 hours a day, 365 days a year you can always contact a vet from this practice for advice or assistance. At Struthers and Scott we work with a large variety of farms including dairy producers, commercial beef and sheep farms, pedigree cattle and sheep flocks, and smaller numbers of goats, pigs, poultry and alpacas. In all areas of our work we pride ourselves on working as a team to provide a complete farm service, including: • Treatment of sick or injured animals • Preventative medicine • Disease control advice • Herd/flock health planning • In house and external laboratory testing and interpretation of results • Fertility services for dairy, beef and sheep • Export work and government testing (TB, BVD etc) • Advice on any other subjects inc. housing, lameness, worming, nutrition etc • Advice and next day orders on all wormers, vaccines, fluke treatments, fly control products etc • Regular newsletters and group meetings - let us know what you want to hear about by contacting us at the surgery, by email or on farm.
