Since 2005, the facility has hosted a variety of events including public expositions, trade shows, association and corporate conferences, and social events. Nearly two million people pass through our doors annually. Earning a reputation for excellent client and guest service combined with a convenient location 90 minutes or less from 70% of Michigan's population, the Suburban Collection Showplace and connected Diamond Banquet and Conference Center is a place where business connects, where local and regional residents gather for a multitude of events and where social functions come alive. In the fall of 2018 the facility transformed into much more than a building with the opening of the beautiful new EVENT CENTER, an addition that expands the existing space by almost 40%. This new space will allow expansion of existing shows plus new opportunities which could include concerts, graduations, and small sporting events. Events with attendance as high as 8,000 people could be accommodated in this new space.
