SummerBus was created in 2010 by a group of young Uruguayans with the aim of showcasing the beauty of their country by means of personalized and innovative transportation service. It was created by travelers for travelers and it adjusts to both the independent backpacker as well as those who wish to travel in groups. With SummerBus we make it possible for backpackers to enjoy the ride itself, showing them Uruguay in a unique and different way, while encouraging meaningful interaction with local residents and generating the least possible social and cultural impact. Our mission is to provide a flexible, safe, comfortable and economical transportation service, designed especially for travelers, connecting the main destinations or Uruguay.
