Summit School

Summit School

Summit School is a private school recognized and subsidized in the public interest by the Ministère de L'Education du Loisir et du Sport. Language of instruction is offered in English with the exception of French as a second language. Founded in 1963, the school services over 550 special needs students by creating an individualized and enriching environment. The students, from ages 4 to 21, present with a range of difficulties including intellectual disabilities, autism, and/or behavioural and emotional disturbances. Summit has three campuses to meet the various needs of its students. The main campus located in Ville St Laurent, is home to the elementary , PACTE secondary , and the 16+ Challenges programs. The modified secondary cycle 1 program is located also in Ville St Laurent at Lauren Hill Academy. The third campus is located in the heart of downtown Montreal and offers the WOTP students a unique work/school environment. At Summit School, students and their families are supported as they encounter the challenges that arise throughout the educational journey.
