Sun Country Sports

Sun Country Sports offers both developmental and competitive gymnastics programs as well as a competitive trampoline and tumbling program. These classes are traditionally offered by invitation only to those children that excel in the gym and desire accelerated instruction. Our developmental program is typically for children ages 4 to 6. Children learn fundamental body positions, basic muscle strength and flexibility that competitive gymnastics requires. Most athletes in our developmental program will eventually graduate into our competitive team program. We offer competitive team programs for both boys and girls from ages 6 to 18. Our teams practice extensively and travel the country to compete in both USA Gymnastics (USAG) and American Athletic Union (AAU) competitions. Many of our competitive team members go on to compete at the collegiate level. Our USAG boys and girls teams train in our Millhopper facility with over 15,000 square feet of workout space. We have an in-ground foam pit, a 7 x 14 in-ground Australian hot bed trampoline, a 50 rod floor, as well as a state-of-the-art tumble trak. Our competitive trampoline and tumble team is coed and competes athletes from ages 6 to 18 in USAG competitions. We provide training for these athletes specifically on the trampoline, rod floor and the double mini trampoline. This team trains in our 40,000 square foot West/Jonesville facility. We have a 100' rod floor, a double mini, a 7' x 14' in-ground hot bed trampoline, as well as a state-of-the-art tumble trak.
