Originally founded in 1982 as a concrete flatwork company, Sunflower Paving, Inc. has expanded into many facets of commercial concrete including everything related to horizontal concrete and asphalt. The concrete division specializes in municipal and private civil work including curbs, sidewalks, paving and handicap ramps while the asphalt division specializes in county highways, municipal street overlays, parking lots, and asphalt patching. Combined, Sunflower has grown into one of the areas largest paving company that can execute correctly for our customers in Lawrence, Topeka, Kansas City and surrounding areas.
