Sun Tran

Sun Tran is the lead public transportation service provider in Tucson, Arizona. Operating 41 fixed routes including 29 regular routes and 12 express routes, Sun Tran provided roughly 15 million rides and 9.4 million total service miles in fiscal year 2019. As part of the same system, the Sun Link streetcar services a 3.9-mile route serving University of Arizona, Downtown Tucson, Maingate Square, 4th Avenue and the Mercado District to roughly 4,000 passengers per weekday. Sun Van provides paratransit services to ADA eligible residents. Sun Van operates a fleet of 137 vehicles carrying about 2,100 passengers each day. The Sun Van fleet consists of a combination of small medium-duty buses, sedans and mini vans.
