Superior Marine has operated its experienced steel fabrication shop in the current location since 1983. Welders, fitters, and machinists fabricate to order any structure, system, or component which will meet the needs of our customers. Superior Marine can fabricate a tangible finished product from a drawing with the ability to quote the project and procure materials. Metal can be manipulated with a variety of tools including a roll, large and small brakes, mills, drills, oxy/gas and plasma cutting, AWS welding procedures, and a variety of lathes with a maximum capacity to turn a 12"OD X 40' shaft. The fabrication shop has completed a diversity of projects including a 1300HP tow boat, chassis for mining equipment, as well as rehabilitation various items.
