Supporting Education Group (previously Education Personnel Group) was formed in 2011 when Teaching Personnel and Protocol Education, two long-standing specialist education workforce resourcing businesses, were joined under the ownership of the management team and their private equity backer. In 2014 Intermediate Capital Group became the financial sponsor of Supporting Education Group, heralding the start of a business strategy aimed at providing a broader range of services into new and existing markets. This has led to our successful expansion into the provision of education and management services for schools and institutions through the acquisition of Best Practice Network, Judicium Education, School Business Services and Thrive. We have also built a presence in the private tutoring market via the acquisition of Fleet Tutors, start-up ventures inTuition Clubs and toota, and investments in Ed Place a leading online learning platform and Bramble Technologies, an innovative online tutoring platform. We are now firmly established as one of the UK's leading educations services platforms for schools, institutions and families.
