Sustainable Forest Management is a specialist forest management company and forestry consultancy with an in depth understanding of the industry. SFM has a wide range of skills and expertise and has taken an active role in the debate on the future of Welsh woods. Activities include community woodland projects, management of large coniferous woodlands, farm woodlands and small woodland projects. SFM has delivered on a range of consultancy projects and has developed a wide client base including private investors, utility companies, government agencies, county councils, wildlife trusts, NGOs and community groups. It specialises in the transformation to continuous cover forestry and in Planted Ancient Woodland Site (PAWS) restoration.
