Southern Vales Christian College

Southern Vales Christian College is a ministry arm of the Morphett Vale Baptist Church. It has two campuses. The first, catering for year levels R-12 is at States Road Morphett Vale and the other is on Aldinga Beach Road at Aldinga, presently catering for R-10. At Southern Vales Christian College we aim to provide an holistic education based on biblical principles where students are nurtured in the Christian faith. Christ is seen to be at the centre of all that we do. Students are provided with opportunities to grow in maturity, faith and service within a safe and well disciplined environment. Academic excellence, life skills and the fruit of the Spirit are promoted in a curriculum by a dedicated staff of Christian educators who see their role as more than just a job. We believe that effective Christian education involves cooperation and commitment by parents, staff and church. It is therefore essential that there is an agreement by parents to support the ethos of the college. The next few years will see some very obvious growth within our college. With an increase in building within the local area at Aldinga there is likely to be an increase in enrolments and there are some exciting proposals being considered to develop both campuses. At present we enjoy a particularly good student teacher ratio.
