Since 2011, Swancor IND CO.,LTD has operated in coordination with the governmentpolicy of offshore wind power, plunging into the development of offshore wind power in Taiwan. In2013, approved by Ministry of Economic Affairs Bureau of Energy as the first demonstration of developers of "Offshore Wind Power Demonstration Reward System" Swancor IND CO.,LTD has been planning to build "Ocean Offshore Wind Farm" which would generate the greatest electric power of the first developers. The Offshore Wind Turbines must be located 2-6 km offshore, 15-30 meters in depth. Firstly bury a stake of thick steel with 70 meters high, 6.5 meters in diameter, 15 cm thick which preliminary estimated about 700-1000 tons. The depth is about 50 floors below the seabed that leads quite high difficulty due to insufficient seabed information in Taiwan. At SinoTech Consultants,INC, Mr. Tsai Chao Yang(known as Robert Tsai)chairman of the Swancor IND CO.,LTD and the president of SinoTech Engineering Consultants. Ltd. Mr. Shih Yien Sian signed a cooperationagreement Nov.24, that both sides shall develop & research on engineering technology of Offshore Wind related in future, and to implement applications.
