Swimwear Galore

Swimwear Galore began its first days 25 years ago from a small rack of swimwear being sold from a family owned fabric shop. Today we are still family owned and that small rack that sat in the corner has multiplied into what we are today. Over the years we have learnt and grown with the women of Australia and from that knowledge we believe that it's not all about having the latest season style or print (although we still get excited each season!), but more about how you feel when you wear it. We have also discovered that in Australia, and all around the world, everyBODY is different, and everyBODY is beautiful! So we expanded our range to over 65 brands to include women's plus sizes, cup sizes up to an H cup, maternity, mastectomy and a wide range of chlorine resistant styles for our pool lovers. We also decided to stock a large range of men and kids swimwear so we could provide something for the whole family. In 2000 we opened our second Swimwear Galore store in St Kilda and with a dedicated team working both in our stores and behind the scenes; this has quickly grown to 6 stores. In 2009 we developed 'Shop by Shape' to help with the often tricky task of finding a style that suits YOUR body. From the feedback we received from the average woman we developed 6 different girls that all had woes when it came to body issues. We then put together lots of tips & tricks to help find the perfect swimsuit for their shape.
