Swisstom AG, with headquarters in Landquart, Switzerland, develops and manufactures innovative medical devices to monitor the lung function of mechanically ventilated patients in intensive care and during general anesthesia. Users of Swisstom products include intensive care specialists, anaesthetists and nursing personnel. In contrast to conventional tomography methods, the images of Swisstom systems are generated by Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT).
