Our founders, James and Omair, came up with the idea during their own time studying medicine at Leeds University, where they were looking for a more engaging and effective way to study for their exams. Over time, Synap grew to the point where it was used by 25% of UK medical students, and partnered with Oxford University Press and the Medical Defense Union. Since graduating in June 2017, the two have moved into the business full time. Team
