Tabernacle Christian Academy

Lighthouse Tabernacle was established in 1950 by Brother William and Sister Denzil Totman in Broad Ripple, IN before moving to the current Carmel location. The church started in a round, theater style building that grew the congregation to hundreds of people. Since that time, the church's leadership has continued to be a family business with current Senior Pastor David Wesley Totman as a third-generation pastor following in his father's and grandparents' footsteps. Pastor David Wesley is an anointed young man with a passion to help build God's kingdom. He is primarily responsible for services on Sunday morning and his mother, Brenda Totman, teaches Sunday night bible study. While the church's appearance and congregation may have changed over the years, our purpose and drive to spread the light of Jesus has remained the same!
