At the Talbot Group our services are focused on the residents and how we can support them to have the best possible quality of life. Each resident has an individual, person-centred care-plan which is developed with them in collaboration with our team. The care plan sets out what care and supports the person requires as well as the activities which they enjoy. All of our residents are supported to choose and engage in personally meaningful activities in their homes and in the community and can access a broad range of enjoyable events and activities on a daily basis. At the Talbot Group we make our care homes the "personal homes" of our residents. In particular, we ensure that each home is a welcoming, comfortable and safe place that residents genuinely feel is "their 'home" and where they feel fully supported and cared for. We also provide a separate Day Service for adults with disabilities in the busy village of Duleek Co Meath where those attending the service learn life skills to help them live and participate as independently as possible in their community. We value our staff highly and provide ongoing training and support to ensure that all staff have the appropriate skills and knowledge required to care and support our residents in line with our values which are Dignity - Respect - Kindness and Engagement.
