Tamarind Springs

In October 2008, Tamarind Springs was awarded "The Award of Outstanding Performance for Health Tourism" by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the highly coveted "Day Spa of the Year Award" for excellence in a glittering ceremony in Hong Kong. In January 2012, Tamarind Springs Forest Spa was accredited with the 5 'Green Leaf' certificate by the Green Leaf Foundation. The foundation, a joint initiative by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the United Nations Environment Program, and others, promotes environmental standards for the tourism industry through environmental assessment and audit programs. The 5 'Green Leaves' awarded to Tamarind Springs after a rigorous auditing process is the highest currently possible ranking, and Tamarind Springs has been the only spa in Thailand to achieve the 5 leaves grade. To mark the occasion, Tamarind Springs Forest Spa was presented with a commemorative 5 'Green Leaf' plaque.
