With more than 3.5 million clients, Telemig Celular is the largest mobile telephony operator in the Minas Gerais State of Brazil and a leader in quality and profitability. Since its creation the operator, which has a 30.4% market share, has been consolidating its position as an innovative company in the telephony sector. With the planned expansion, Telemig Celular will be providing services in 600 municipalities, with more than 700 locations, including the main State highways. Recently, Telemig Celular established itself as the operator with the most advanced technology in Brazil, when it implemented in August this year the first 3G/WCDMA link with HSPA capacity in the country.
