Corvidae Environmental Consulting

Corvidae specializes in Conservation and Reclamation (C&R) Plans for steam assisted gravity drainage (SAG-D) projects in the oil sands of northern Alberta. We have been writing C&R plans since 2001, working with clients and regulators to evolve as new solutions to reclamation are available. Corvidae's experience in reclamation for wind farms, oil and gas facilities and linear developments has given us a strong understanding of regulatory, financial and physical parameters for these types of projects in the different ecoregions of Alberta, BC and Saskatchewan. We work with the client and the regulators to determine suitable minimal disturbance construction methods and successful reclamation techniques. We have been involved in several reclamation projects in sensitive environments with high erosion potential (i.e. wind and water). We provided prescriptive plans to successfully reclaim these areas. We then monitored the reclamation and audited the reclamation success in the following years. Drawing from these experiences, we succeed in applying new methods of reclamation for each area we work in.
