Horton Automatics
Horton also offers a mechanical Self-Closing IDS that opens manually and self-closes. It features full perimeter seals and can be applied in any of the same medical installations as that of the 2000-IDS, but without the need for electrical power. In addition, the Self-Closing IDS has a positive latching handle and a hold-open feature. Both systems may be used as a patient room when infection control is not required. Hospital applications identified for the new Horton systems include newborn and pediatric care, intensive and critical care, bariatric care, biohazard rooms, quarantine rooms and other patient care areas.
