Texas American Resources Company, along with its affiliated entities, is a privately held, independent oil and gas exploration and production company headquartered in Austin, Texas. Founded in 1990, Texas American Resources Company has successfully drilled hundreds of horizontal and vertical wells across multiple on-shore basins in the United States. In 2016 and 2018, Texas American Resources Company partnered with First Reserve, a leading global equity investment firm exclusively focused on energy, to continue to acquire and develop a portfolio of properties that combines existing production with significant remaining undrilled locations.
