TG4

TG4 invests over $15M annually in original Irish programming from the independent production sector in Ireland. This investment supports 350 posts in small private sector companies throughout the country. TG4 was established and operates under the statutory umbrella of RTÉ. TG4 receives a program supply of 365 hours of programming annually from RTÉ, at no cost to TG4. The channel's energy, vision and emphasis on innovation and emerging talent have won its programs critical acclaim, numerous awards and commendations at prestigious national and international festivals. Its programming has also gained significant sales on the international market for television programs. TG4 is a publisher/broadcaster. The station sources its programs from independent production companies as well as from RTÉ, the national broadcaster for Ireland. It also broadcasts a range of public service programs in English including live coverage of Dáil Éireann, the national parliament.
