Thames Valley Hire Services was founded in 1985 and rapidly became one of the leading tool hire companies in the Surrey area. The business quickly outgrew its original premises in Egham and expanded into the property we are based in today - an expansion that allowed the company to significantly expand the range of products on offer for hire and sale. The second Thames Valley Hire Services branch was then opened in 2001 at Hampton Hill, Middlesex, which has enabled us to provide a more comprehensive service to our increasing number of customers in the West London Area. This branch became a dedicated delivery and collection depot in October 2008 and continues to provide an unrivalled service within our delivery area. In July 2007 we acquired Portatools in Uxbridge, a well established and popular business, and are continuing to improve the levels and range of stock available there. This branch is very spacious and so we will be basing our up and coming e-commerce part of the business from this depot. Over the next few years we plan to expand the company further - by continuing to build up our hire fleet, offering the same high quality equipment & advice, and by continuing the level of service and professionalism that our customers have come to expect. With over 22 years of combined experience in tool hire, we are uniquely placed to offer information and ideas that benefit our customers at home and in business, and we are able to provide quick, efficient solutions to most of the problems they encounter.
