The Energy Industries Council

The EIC (www.the-eic.com) is the leading trade association for UK companies that supply capital goods and services to the energy industries worldwide. Established in 1943, the EIC's primary goal is to support its members in marketing and selling their energy products in the UK and internationally. The EIC provides business intelligence and support services to help members maximize business opportunities worldwide; networking services; training; and consultancy services to its membership base of over 600 UK energy companies. The EIC is not for profit, and has no government financial support. The EIC's head office is in London with regional offices in Billingham and Aberdeen, and overseas offices in Rio de Janeiro, Houston, Singapore and Dubai. There is also a presence in China. The EIC has a board of 20 Directors, elected by members annually, which establishes overall policy and provides guidance and governance to the management team.
