The Ballroom Dance

We are the only studio in Oregon with multiple championship level accomplished professional instructors who reliably produce Oregon's top competitors, including multiple national title winners. We produce Oregon's top dancesport competitors. We offer diverse instructors. In addition to high-level competition coaching, we also have teachers who specialize in teaching wedding couples and people who have never danced before. We understand many people solely wish to dance for fun, so do not pressure students to compete or perform. Students pay as they go. We never rope students into high cost 'contracts' or 'packages,' or use high pressure sales tactics. Students learn at their own pace . We cater each private lesson to the abilities of that student. Students capable of progessing quickly do so immediately. Students who wish to progress more gradually are also welcome to do so. We host several weekly dance parties to give students the opportunity to practice what they've learned in claSs in a welcoming, casual environment. We are the largest ballroom & latin studio in the entire country, and the only northwest studio with a regulation competition size floor for competitors to learn and practice. While most studios lump students into a very limited number of group classes a week, The Ballroom Dance Company offers over 60 hours of group classes to choose from every week. To maximize student comfort we provide age-specific classes for children, teens, adults and seniors. Although we recognize students learn much faster when they rotate to different partners during group classes, we do allow students the choice to not rotate in group claSs. If this is the case, we ask you to share this request with your teacher (before your group class begins). We are open and offer private lessons 7 days a week 10am-10pm.
