Barry Bannett, RA, AIA, DBIA, NCARB, CEO of The Bannett Group is a third generation design/builder. Barry learned his craft from his father, Joe Bannett, just as Joe received his start from his father, Simon Bannett who was an Architect and Master Builder. Barry started his business over 35 years ago. "It occurred to me that so much money and construction time could be saved by employing an experienced master builder who not only oversees the building design but hires and manages all of the contractors who will work on that project as well. Thus the master builder becomes a design/builder performing as a single point of responsibility for the entire project." The Bannett Group's approach features a single source project delivery system. Scott Bannett, DBIA is President of The Bannett Group and carries on the tradition as the fourth generation. Under Scott's leadership the company has grown enough to be named to the top 100 fastest growing companies in the region by Philadelphia Business Journal.
