The Gateway Village

The Gateway Village is designed to be a community for people to live, work, and shop. With retail, restaurants, office, and residential uses it will become a one-stop destination. This development is Leadership in Energy Environment Design (LEED) certified and designed to create an environmentally friendly community. This development has been designed with wide walkways along retail shops and restaurants to create the best outdoor shopping experience. These walkways will allow for pedestrians to comfortably navigate up and down the storefronts while window-shopping as well as a location for outdoor seating for cafes and restaurants. The tree-lined main street provides on-street parking, which allows priority for electric cars and carpools. Decorative benches and outdoor furniture not only provide a great resting area, but also add to the storefront architecture and promote outdoor activities. All pedestrian crosswalks in this main corridor, along with both intersections, are surfaced with decorative paving. A plaza at the end of the main street houses a statuary feature serving as a focal point for the architecture as well as providing seating for the community.
