The interior of the venue oozes sophistication and therefore attracts likeminded guests, whether it be for a midweek dinner or cocktails for the weekend. Being the former Longroom venue, the business has undergone extensive renovations and rebranding, reopening as The George on Collins. We reopened in June 2017 after several months of renovations. Like the Longroom, we have a sharing based concept of our food however we are now dedicated to all day lunch and dinner available with a strong focus on our late nights. We want customers to feel like they can come here to eat, drink and party. Our guests dress the part when they visit us, we embrace our heritage of the best customer service in Melbourne and have a passionate team from our international head chef Anup Saha & Khanh Ong (our business partner) to our front of house and skilled bar-staff, mixologists and wait-staff.
