The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD
As the largest behavioral and developmental disability care center in the State of Texas, the Harris Center provides a full continuum of services to 86 sites across Harris County, serving approximately 80,000 individuals annually. Services are offered in over 40+ different languages to better serve one of the most diverse and multi-cultural communities in the nation. The organization is governed by an eleven-member Board of Trustees appointed by the Harris County Commissioners Court. The Harris Center is the state-designated Local Mental Health and Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) Authority serving Harris County, Texas.
