The History Makers offer you the opportunity to encounter the Romans, the Vikings, or the Anglo Saxons through the things they made, the stories they told, and the lives they lived. This unique, interactive experience is not about telling - it's about doing. The young warriors 'get into role' by putting on their costumes, participating in stories, encountering new belief systems and taking on the warriors' code. They learn how to make and decorate swords, shields and amulets, using traditional methods and materials. Finally, once they are fully kitted out, the young warriors are trained in strategy, teamwork and problem-solving - through games, reconstructions and interactive performance demonstrations. Whilst a full-day immersive experience is highly recommended, the History Makers offer bespoke events which can be negotiated individually according to specific requirements.
