The Mansfield Group

The Mansfield Group was established in 1978 in the village of Biggin, Derbyshire, repairing a variety of vehicles from farming vehicles to all types of cars and commercial vehicles. Over the past 15 years, the business has specialised in vehicle recovery, rescue, storage and repair providing services to all the major Motoring Organisations, Police, Council and Government Agencies. In 2012 The Mansfield Group employed approximately 320 staff, operated a fleet of over 200 specialist rescue and recovery units and managed it's geographical footprint from a total of eleven service centres across the Central & Northern geographical areas of the Country, based in Stoke-On-Trent, Stafford, Birmingham, Derby, Sheffield, Doncaster, Leeds, Manchester, North Manchester, Liverpool and Macclesfield. In July 2013, Bidvest acquired a majority share in The Mansfield Group, which saw the rescue and recovery and Parking Services of Ontime Automotive combine with The Mansfield Group, forming a £40m turnover business and enabling the business to expand into the South. The Mansfield Group was built on always providing the best solution to our customers and an overall paramount service, and this remains our focus today.
