The Nursery is an improvisational theatre company based in London, United Kingdom with students, performers and audiences across the globe. It is an arts organisation committed to promoting improvisation as an artistic form and a way of thinking. The Nursery offers improvisation training through regular courses, hosts a wide variety of shows and performances and contributes to the global improvisation movement through improv-related blogs, panel discussions and other initiatives. Continuing its growth and embracing the new developments and opportunities facing the arts community in today's world, The Nursery is reorganising its leadership structure, which now consists of a Senior Management Team and a Board of Trustees, to better serve its global community of students, performers, teachers and audiences. At this moment, The Nursery is seeking new trustees to diversify the current Board and steer the organisation through the next stages of its development and evolution as a leading creative force in improvisational theatre in the world.
