The Pittsburgh Golf Club
The Pittsburgh Golf Club, established in 1896 and located in Squirrel Hill, boasts a rich history and tradition that is apparent as soon as you walk through the door. Andrew Mellon, Henry Clay Frick and Philander C. Knox were among The Club's early members. Restored, remodeled and redecorated many times in the past century, The PGC is a family club where members enjoy racquet sports, summer swimming, private parties and fine dining in a setting of simple elegance. The Club is a "home away from home" for the families of its members and guests. This intimate feeling distinguishes it from any other club in the city. Members and guests enjoy a high standard of food, service and facilities that make the PGC a secluded jewel in the heart of the city.
