have you ever heard of ‘green wine’?! well, if you’ve ever visited portugal then it’s most likely that you have. but if not, don’t fear, as we are here to tell you all about these fantastic portuguese wines! 💚 ‘green wine’ is the english name given to wines from the vinho verde region of northern portugal. the white wines are not actually green in color, but the name refers to the verdant nature of the region. so in fact, they are more correctly called vinho verde wines! and it’s not only white wines that the region produces, but reds, rosés and sparklings too! 🍷 we recently travelled the entire vinho verde region & had the pleasure of visiting over 30 wineries & trying over 200 wines, in order to bring you only the highest quality ‘green wine’ from small, passionate producers - it was a hard job but someone had to do it 😝 our wines will be available to order from our website very soon, so click on ‘learn more’ above, head over to our website and put in your email to be the first t
