Thisted Bryghus

Ever since then, the brewery has kept its independence from the bigger breweries, always with a clear focus on traditional brewing methods and honest products of high quality. Today the brewery is owned by approximately 3000 shareholders, many of these locals. One of the most talked-about venues of the area is the brewery's annual general assembly, also known as the 4th holy season of Thy. Support from the local consumers has been essential during good times and crisis, but today the brewery is well consolidated, and an important player on the national Danish beer scene. During the last decades, the brewery has shown a special ability to integrate new consumer trends, i.e. as the first Danish brewery to introduce organic beer to the market in 1995, but also as the creator of craft beers of high standard. New products often contains herbs and spices from the nearby nature reserve Nationalpark Thy. Danish beer consumers organization DØE, has appreciated the efforts of the brewery, by appointing Thisted Bryghus Danish Brewery of the Year three years in a row: 2015, 2016 and 2017. About
