The Thrifty Quaker

The Thrifty Quaker has never had such great donations during the winter! Don't miss the quality items we now have at absolutely great prices! It's fun to shop at our thrift store, as you ask yourself: "Should I buy this great item now or should I wait until Thursday when all prices go down;? Will it still be available then, or will someone else have snatched it up?" During February The Thrifty Quaker is raising funds for The Conciliation Project. They produce original plays that inspire, inform, and include everyone in the conversation around race. ​​​​In July of 2016 NBC12 featured The Thrifty Quaker due to its quality thrift items offered at the lowest prices in town in order to help twelve mostly local charities each year. NBC12 photojournalist Jennifer Warnick reports,"Some thrift stores pull their higher dollar items to sell elsewhere. The Thrifty Quaker is charity-based, giving thousands to different local causes each month, which has in turn kept customers donating quality stuff for 20 years." Picture
