At Tidewater Oil we sell #2 fuel oil, kerosene, diesel fuels, propane and staff a 24x7 service department. There is nothing special about the fuels we sell. They look, smell and burn just like our competitors. With a few exceptions we all get our fuel from the same terminal and we all pump the fuel into your tanks the same way. So, if we all sell the same products does it really matter who you order from? Is it really a decision that needs to be well researched and thought out? Absolutely, every company is different. At Tidewater Oil we are a group of individuals 100% committed to providing you with an unsurpassed experience each time we interact with you. Founded in 2006 by Matt Porter, Tidewater Oil has always sought to provide a level of service not found at other companies. As a child, Matt was exposed to his father's fuel oil business. Tagging along on deliveries and service calls allowed Matt to witness day in and day out the commitment his father placed on always exceeding his customers' expectations. He was also able to gain valuable knowledge from other members of his family who owned and operated their own businesses as well. Those early lessons in how to do things right are the foundation upon which our company is built. Our employees understand that without your business, Tidewater Oil Company will cease to exist. We take the trust you place in us very seriously and are constantly looking for new ways to provide you with a better experience. As we continue to grow, the services we add will be a direct result of our interactions with you. Case in point would be propane. Our propane division was officially launched in May of 2015 after receiving numerous requests to add that product line. What will be our next big adventure? That is up to you!
