Over 20 years ago, while running Captain Kelly's Water Ski School on Lake Tahoe, Kelly Dietz met Dan. At the time, Dan was upset with his property manager and frustrated by the lack of communication he received. Dan was in need of someone to take care of his Tahoe home, someone he could trust and rely on to ensure that it was not only well-maintained, but that it was generating revenue. As a young entrepreneur, Kelly was up for the challenge. Tahoe Luxury Properties was born. Each year, as word spread, more and more homeowners sought her out to manage their properties. In 2006, after 15 years managing the Alpine Meadows Ski School and spending summers in construction and home design, Bill Dietz pursued his Broker's License. In Bill's first seven years, he closed over $250M in real estate sales. Then, in 2014, Bill sold $89.9M in residential real estate, a banner year, validating his title of one of the region's top agents. In 2018 alone, Bill sold over $145 million in real estate. Today, Bill has sold over $1 billion in residential real estate in California and Nevada, including over 70 lakefront homes. Together both the Real Estate Sales and Vacation Rentals that comprise Tahoe Luxury Properties thrive. And while we pride our business acumen, our success is attributed to more. After two decades in this business, we have learned that the secret to our success is in our sincere belief in treating our homeowners, our guests, our clients, and our team (with many 10+ year employees) like family.
