Tourism continues to be the CNMI's (Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands) most viable industry bringing in much needed revenue to support our economy. Our natural surroundings boast a tranquil and serene atmosphere which attract visitors to come to the Northern Mariana Islands of Saipan, Tinian and Rota. We, as a community must take pride in our islands to maintain their natural beauty, take care of our environment and preserve our culture. For 15 years the TOC (Tournament of Champions) has raised funds to promote our visitors industry by enhancing our destination landscaping and plants for the Paseo de Marianas, Port to Pathway, and Garapan Street Revitalization Project - Coral Tree Avenue, the Gualo Rai/Nay Gill intersection and the Ada Gym for the Oceania Games. The replacement of palm trees on the North Medians and South Medians were also made possible by the TOC. Funds were given to the Governor's Destination Enhancement Committee for projects at the Saipan International Airport. Oceania Games - funded landscaping and plant for Ada's Gym.
