Town of Breckenridge

The Town of Breckenridge is offering an evening time for LED light bulb sales at a discounted rate on Thursday, June 2nd from 5 - 7 p.m. This event, at the Breckenridge Police Station, is an opportunity for Breckenridge residents to upgrade lighting in their homes to more energy and cost efficient LEDs. This event is sponsored by the Town's Green Team in an effort to support the Town's efforts to be a more sustainable community. The SustainableBreck Plan encourages the reduction of carbon emissions so the Town has committed resources to assisting homeowners with energy savings. This LED light bulb offer is a low-cost, easy-entry way to assist residents with energy reduction. This offering features the sale of one type of bulb which replaces the equivalent of a 60 watt incandescent bulb for $1 per bulb (cash only). The Town is providing this opportunity at an 80% cost savings on regularly priced LED light bulbs and there is a limit of 20 per resident. The Breckenridge Police Station is located at 150 Valley Brook Road, Breckenridge.
