Toyota Lanka was established in 1995 as a fully owned subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Japan, to be the sole distributor for brand new Toyota vehicles and Genuine Spare Parts in the country with the renowned Toyota Quality Service in Sri Lanka. In 1998 landmark Toyota Plaza was opened introducing for the first time in Sri Lanka, the 3-S concept which is denoted by Sales, Services and Spare Parts under one roof solely creating the Customer convenience. Toyota Lanka operation is segregated under Vehicle Sales, General Service, Body & Paint Repair, Motor Oil Lubricants and Spare Parts with a customer centric approach focusing on the customer in order to deliver sales and high quality after sale services accounted for a 40% market share for Japanese vehicles in Sri Lanka.
