Production started in February 2005 and already in following year reached the planned annual capacity of 300,000 cars. Currently in TPCA work 3,000 employees. Revenues of about 50 billion crowns brought TPCA among one of the biggest exporters in the Czech republic. Kolin factory produces Toyota Aygo, Peugeot 108 and Citroën C1, city cars with low fuel consumption and reliability. TPCA uses the most environment-friendly technologies, as proven by BAT (Best Available Techniques), which the plant was awarded along with an international certificate of environmental management EN ISO 14001:2004.
